First Test Release ABSØLVE
ABSØLVE our first test release.
This early test-release is meant to allow players to test our new hack and slash action combat game, ABSØLVE.
Since hack and slash combat, Mushou-style, is pretty hard to nail down, so this release is meant to collect feedback. Our developers and designers are aware the combat feels a bit janky, and we're trying to get people to give us insight on what is needed in order to improve it since combat is our driving factor.
The current systems we have are simple light and heavy attacks and different abilities set on a cooldown.
We are aware of certain lagging components, mostly being combat related, where the on-hit animation on enemies will play later than the actual hit register which sometimes can make the game feel more than janky.
The map is currently a big test map, this helps with testing our monster pooling/spawning since we intend to have lots of monsters on screen at the same time.
Feel free to test the game and let us know your opinion!
NOTE:
Ultrawide is not recommended since the sensitivity tends to go haywire, this has yet to be fixed.
